A napokban zajlik Európa legjelentősebb, évente megrendezésre kerülő múzeumkonferenciája, a Museum Next. A rangos esemény helyszíne idén Genf, és az eredeti célkitűzéshez híven tovább folytatódik a diskurzus a múzeumok helyéről a digitális korban. A TechLab képviseletében Ruttkay Zsófia a Weörös100 interaktív kiállítás tapasztalatairól fog beszélni.
Szinte Gábor néprajzi gyűjtő fotóhagyatékát bemutató kiállítás nyílik április 16-án 17 órakor a Néprajzi Múzeumban. A kiállítás érdekesebbé tételében a TechLabnak is jutott ismét szerep. Szeretettel ajánljuk mindenki figyelmébe.
Kelly Cannon's „After Digitization – Using Digital Humanities to Explore Art History” is now available online. Her talk was given at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design on the 26th of March 2015.
The next guest of TechTea is Kelly Cannon who is a Fulbright Fellow researching early twentieth century Hungarian photographers. She was formerly the Cataloguer and Assistant Digital Content Strategist of Object:Photo (moma.org/objectphoto), a digital research platform for the exploration of modern photography, published by the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Between 2-5 February 2015 Zsófia Ruttkay visited the Royal College of Art and its special program- Information Experience Design.
The IED is one of the courses within RCA's School of Communication. This exciting new porgramme launched in 2012 covers critical making and experimental design practice, encompassing data visualisation, installations and exhibitions, interface and experience design, making hacking using a range of mateials both physical and digital. It includes MA and PhD students, research and consutancy.
