Digital Installations in the Lutheran Museum
The renewed Lutheran Museum was opened on November 11 at Deák Square. The TechLab Fellows collective have made six digital installations and an animation film for the permanent exhibition „Luther's Legacy”.
The digital installations of the exhibition
The Testament of Luther
This is the main digital installation exhibiting the testament of Luther, a document with international importance. Visitors can get to know information on the genre, history and witnesses of the testament, Martin Luther and his family in an interactive way with the help of thematic disks.
 A Special Organ
The sounds of the organ can be tried out with the help of the digital application integrated in the body of the organ. One can choose from 12 pieces, they can be listened to in 10 registrations with the stop-keys placed on the keyboard of the restorated organ.
 Up and Down
The application presents the ambiguous relationship of the church and the state.
 Album Amicorum
The application represents the social network of illustrious Lutheran people, i.e. Lajos Kossuth, Sándor Petőfi , Mária Habsburg and Elemér Hankiss. It turns out where they travelled to, who they married, what friends they had and quotations can be read from them. The database can be searched in different categories (profession, fellows).
 Map
The application follows the changes of the Lutheran congregation in space and time.
 In Memoriam Gábor Sztehlo and András Keken
The digital installation, which is hidden in different objects (can, book and suitcase) and can be found in the air-raid shelter under the building, recalls the era of WWII, the siege of Budapest on black and white pictures.
 The Story of the House
The animation film brings to life the story of the building, which is a national monument , and the neighbouring church. The animations not lacking humour and irony have been made with papercut technique.
 The installations have been realised with the professional leadership of Zsófia Ruttkay by the MOME TechLab Fellows collective: Klára Berczi, Zoltán Csík-Kovács, Bence Hajdu, Gáspár Hajdu, Dániel Huszár, Dániel Karasz, Ágoston Nagy, Ildikó Mezei, Bence Samu.
