Course description:
The goal of the course is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge about the possibilities of extending art and scientific experience and knowledge acquisition with the help of the latest digital technology devices.

Means and methods of the course:
After gaining the theoretical backround and researching the issues, we are going to work on questions related to the permanent exhibition History of Hungary, which is to be renewed by the National Museum. In the fall term we are going to deal with contemporary historical and curating methods, 21st century exhibiting principles and the use of digital, interactive technology in museums. Having done our own research, we are going to present concepts on how to address the contemporary audience of the historical exhibition. The next term we are trying to realise these concepts with the participation of IT students from BME making demo projects.

MOME regulations are to be applied in the case of IP rights and future realisation of the projects. The work is going to be carried out in interdiciplinary groups, with the cooperation of external partners (museum professionals, students and teachers of BME).
