The goal of the course is to provide theoratical and practical knowledge about the possibilities of extending art and scientific experience and knowledge acquisition with the help of the latest digital technology devices. The course is related to the new exhibition of the Hungarian Open Air Museum " Transylvanian Unit". The coursework will be carried out with the cooperation of IT students from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, which enables the realization of the projects (as demos).
Main themes: 1. 21th century museum: altering institutional identity 2. Digital technologies in cultural mediation and learning: interactive digital devices and technologies i.e.: QR code, NFC, Augmented Reality; data visualization, intelligent objects 3. Participatory society - participatory museum 4. 'Skanzen' as a special genre 5. Project method: from formation to evaluation 6. Making project documentation Requirements: Active participation in seminars and consultations in the museum. The main component of assessment is the quality and completeness of the projects realized by the groups - as well as the presentation and documentation (project description, photo, film).
On the basis of the concept of the project, quality of realization and documentation. Group work and individual work will be assessed - together and separately as well.
